ANNIE DINGWALL
Annie is a singer/songwriter from Plano, Texas. As a recent graduate from the University of Southern California, Annie has been living and working in the Los Angeles music scene. She has just released her latest EP entitled "Shadow Watch." This record reflects Annie's ability to marry traditional pop hooks with deep, emotionally evocative lyrics. Armed with the incredible musical foundation from her studies at USC in the prestigious Popular Music Performance Program and at the acclaimed Booker T. Washington high School for the Performing and Visual Arts, she has created a stunning EP that shows true passion and craftsmanship for the art of songwriting. Currently, Annie is in the studio working on follow-up singles as well as performing in the Los Angeles area. Aside from her artist project, Annie spends her time working in studios writing songs for other singers. Annie's accolades include 5 Downbeat Awards, BMI Festival honors, a finalist designation in the International Song Competition, and scholarships from programs established by George Michael and Willie Hutch. She counts among her co-writers such luminaries as Jeffrey Steele (Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill); Angela Kaset (Wynonna Judd, Lorrie Morgan); and Chas Sandford (Tina Turner, Rod Stewart, Chicago). Annie’s music has taken her to Dallas, Nashville, New York, London, and Los Angeles. She is blessed to be mentored by Academy Award-winning and GRAMMY Award-winning composer and songwriter Randy Newman.
